I never thought I would be someones wife.
I don't know why but even from when I was a small child I imagined myself as a academic woman travelling the world solo making amazing historical discoveries. However, three months ago, I got married. Problem was, i fell head over heals in love 6 years ago, what else could i do but make an honest man out of him? What I didn't foresee when we got engaged, was unemployment.
I am a high school teacher, but there are no jobs, so completely unintentionally I have become a housewife. Not a stay at home mum, a housewife! This is something I never thought would happen to me.
So now I am dedicating myself to my home and my family and my dog. Of course me being me, I'm going a little OTT. To start my housewife adventure I'm growing my own food and deep cleaning the entire house room by room.
It's been hard adjusting my mindset to the responsibility of homemaker rather than career woman but I know that I have a fantastic opportunity for personal growth which I am going to cherish.
